Dildos
Whether you’re a long-time fan of sex toys, or just starting your journey, you can never go wrong with a dido! These time tested toys give plenty of pleasure, just like the real thing.
What is a Dildo?
A dildo is one of the simplest sex toys out there. Phallic in shape, and often in appearance, a dildo is a long rod designed to be used for penetration. Oral, vaginal or anal, it doesn’t matter. A dildo can do it all.
Types of Dildo
Just because they’re simple, it doesn’t mean they’re boring. Our dildo line up is one of the most diverse in our entire store, with plenty of options to make your play more interesting, exciting, and most importantly, pleasurable.
Start exploring now with some of our most popular types of dildo:
Realistic dildos are one of the most common types you’ll see when browsing. These look just like they sound, like a penis! The level of realism varies from dildo to dildo, with some having testicles or even veins, but all feature that familiar head and shaft design that characterizes the male genitals. A realistic dildo is often a great choice for a complete beginner as it gives the same familiar feeling as sex.
Firm dildos are the standard, non penis shaped dildos. These usually look like rods and will have a curved end to make insertion easier. Firmer models are made from harder materials like glass, steel or plastic, and will provide more pressure when inserted.
Soft dildos can either be penis or rod shaped, but their key feature is that they’re soft and flexible. Sometimes this can make them a little harder to use, as they may be softer than an erect penis, but they are much more flexible. This means you can insert them deeper more comfortably as they will bend to the shape of your body.
Suction cup dildos are just like regular dildos, but with one added feature: a suction cup placed on the base of the dildo. This lets you stick it to nearly any surface, such as the wall, floor or table, and ride it just like a real penis. Whatever your favorite position is, a suction cup dildo will be able to provide.
Double-ended dildos offer double the fun. With a rounded tip or penis head at both ends, these are the perfect toys for lesbian couples, or women who want to experience double penetration with a single toy.
While not specifically a type of dildo, strap ons deserve a mention here. Put simply, a strap on is a dildo that a woman can wear. There are many different kinds of strap that you can use, and these are compatible with a huge range of dildos, so there’s every chance you could turn your favorite into a strap on too!
Thrusting and vibrating dildos are some of the newer additions to the market. These mechanical dildos make use of modern tech to provide a sexperience that simply lets you lie back and enjoy the ride. As the names would suggest, vibrating dildos vibrate, and thrusting dildos thrust. So pick your preferred type of stimulation and get ready for effortless pleasure.
Novelty dildos again are not a specific category of their own. Instead many different kinds of dildo could fall under this description, such as ribbed, beaded, dog, textured, ejaculating, or even tentacle. There’s really something for everyone, so don’t be afraid to spend some time browsing to find exactly the kind of pleasure you’re looking for.
Dildo Materials
Just as there’s plenty of choice when looking for different types of dildos, there’s also plenty of materials to choose from. Generally though, you can break it down into harder materials or softer materials.
Harder materials include metal and glass. Both of these will stay rigid while you use them, and can put plenty of pressure on any of your erogenous zones. Another advantage to this type of dildo is that it’s very easy to experiment with temperature play by heating up or cooling down your dildo, but you might find them a little cold if you immediately start using one.
Softer materials include silicone and TPE. Both of these are softer, and can often feel like real skin when you use them. They may be floppy, so they can bend and adjust to the shape of your body, or they may still stay rigid during use, but either way the surface will be soft and it’ll feel great to slide into your body.
There are a few other materials out there, such as rubber or jelly, but generally we prefer the four listed above for quality and health reasons.
